The Vietnamese authorities have decided to abolish tourist visas for Polish, Czech and Swiss citizens. Although at first sight the change may be positive, there is a catch. It will only be possible to take advantage of these facilities if tours are organised by licensed Vietnamese travel agencies. Thus, Vietnam is trying to attract tourists by regulating and rewarding its own travel agency market. The maximum length of stay will be 45 days.
The tourist visa exemption under the above conditions is temporary and will last from 1 March to 31 December 2025.
