A draft regulation abolishing the state of epidemic emergency throughout the country as of 1 July 2023 has appeared on the pages of the Government Legislation Centre (pl: Rządowe Centrum Legislacji).
According to the justification of the draft regulation: ‘The decision to revoke the state of epidemic emergency is justified by the request of the Chief Sanitary Inspector submitted to the Minister of Health on 20 April 2023, in which the Chief Sanitary Inspector requests the revocation of the state, in view of the current epidemiological situation, in particular taking into account the decrease in the number of diagnosed SARS-CoV-2 infections, as well as the decrease in the number of deaths and hospitalisations observed recently.’
Foreigners wishing to remain in Poland should submit appropriate applications for residence permits.
